Gini Ratio March 2024 The population of Sumatera Barat was recorded at 0.283

Abstract

In March 2024, the level of expenditure inequality among the population of Sumatera Barat as measured by the Gini Ratio will be 0.283. This figure has decreased compared to the Gini Ratio in Maret 2023 which was 0.280. Meanwhile, when compared with the Gini Ratio in March 2022 (0.300), a decrease of 0.017 points was recorded.

The Gini Ratio in urban areas in March 2024 was recorded at 0.310, a decrease of 0.005 points compared to the Gini Ratio in Maret 2023 which was 0.305. Compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2022, it was recorded to have decreased by 0.019 points, where the Gini Ratio in March 2022 was 0.247.

The Gini Ratio in rural areas in March 2024 was recorded at 0.228, or decreased by 0.004 points compared to the Maret 2023 figure of 0.232, and decreased by 0.019 points compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2022 which was recorded at 0.247.
